Celebrating the next generation of skilled trades professionals and their contributions to the 2026 Training House
On February 11, CHBA Central Interior proudly recognized outstanding carpentry students for their contributions to the 2026 Training House during our dinner meeting, celebrating their achievements and the importance of hands-on learning in the skilled trades.
During the evening, CHBA Central Interior First Vice President Ryan Kurzac, Second Vice President Drew Atkinson, and TRU instructor, Bryce Coombs presented bursaries to five exceptional students in recognition of their dedication, craftsmanship, and commitment to the project.

The recognition reflects CHBA Central Interior’s ongoing commitment to supporting the next generation of trades professionals and strengthening industry-education partnerships.
The 2026 Training House, currently underway at 2257 Coldwater Drive in Kamloops, continues to build careers, confidence, and community through meaningful, real-world construction experience.
