Québec– May 8, 2026 – The Canadian Home Builders' Association Central Interior (CHBA Central Interior) is proud to announce it has received two Association Leadership Awards from the Canadian Home Builders' Association (CHBA), recognizing the association's commitment to community service and member engagement.
CHBA Central Interior was honored with the Community Service Award for the 2025 Training House Project, recognizing the positive impact the program continues to have on skilled trades education and the community. For nearly three decades, the Training House Project has provided students with valuable hands-on construction experience while bringing together builders, suppliers, trades, educators, and industry partners to construct a quality home through a collaborative effort.
The association also received the Member Retention Award, presented to local and provincial Home Builders' Associations that retained 90% or more of their members during the previous year. The award recognizes associations that continue to provide exceptional value to their members through advocacy, education, networking opportunities, industry resources, and meaningful member engagement.

Receiving these two national awards reflects the dedication of CHBA Central Interior's Board, staff, and member companies whose ongoing support continues to strengthen the residential construction industry throughout the Central Interior and East Kootenay regions.
CHBA Central Interior extends its sincere thanks to everyone who has contributed to the success of the Training House Project and to the continued strength of the association. These awards are a reflection of the collaboration, commitment, and passion of our members and partners. We are grateful for your continued support and look forward to building on this success together.
