Kamloops, BC – December 05, 2025

The Canadian Home Builders’ Association Central Interior (CHBA CI) is pleased to announce the winners of our 2^nd Annual Gingerbread House Competition, a festive community event celebrating creativity, craftsmanship, and holiday spirit within our local building industry.

This year, we received 10 outstanding entries, each showcasing incredible detail and imagination. Thank you to our judges, Howie Reimer and Tara Holmes, for lending their time and expertise to this fun holiday tradition.

2025 Gingerbread House Competition Winners:

1^st Place – TRUE Consulting & Land Surveying
2^nd Place – Madok Developments Ltd.
3^rd Place – Kamloops Home Hardware

A huge thank-you to all participants — the creativity and effort put into each gingerbread house were truly amazing. Your contributions make this event such a fun and meaningful part of our year.

We also want to recognize and thank FortisBC, our event sponsor, for making this competition possible.

As part of this event, all proceeds are donated to a charity selected by the first-place winner. TRUE Consulting has chosen the BC SPCA, and CHBA Central Interior is proud to make this donation on their behalf.

On December 5, we celebrated the winner of our 2^nd Annual Gingerbread House Building Competition! 🎄✨

The winner, TRUE Consulting & Land Surveying, selected BC SPCA Kamloops to receive a cheque, and we were thrilled to support such a wonderful cause.

A huge thank you to all participants for making the event a sweet success — your creativity and holiday spirit truly made the day special.
